I’m Luke, a creative director based in Auckland, New Zealand. This is me with my dog Popcorn on Mangere Mountain. My double barrelled last name represents my Greek Cypriot and British roots. “How nice to see you” is pretty close to how you pronounce Anastassiou!

I’m a visionary creative who loves storytelling. With 20 years’ experience, my career spans several industries: television, film, product, place branding, destination marketing, art & culture and economic development. I oversee designers, content creators, editors, motion graphics artists and freelance crew members.

I’ve been a full-time in-house creative leader for many years and have also built creative departments from scratch, recruiting high performing team members, managed budgets and outlined processes and best practices. I have strong strategic leadership skills, which, along with my experience in teaching and empathy focused mindset, makes me a great mentor for creative teams I work in. I have won international creative awards (and I want to win more!!)
