I’m Luke, a creative director based in Auckland, New Zealand. This is me with my dog Popcorn on Mangere Mountain. My double barreled last name represents my Greek Cypriot and British roots. “How nice to see you” is pretty close to how you pronounce Anastassiou!

I’m a visionary creative that loves storytelling. With 20 years’ experience, my career spans several industries: television, film, product, place branding, destination marketing, art & culture and economic development. I oversee designers, content creators, editors, motion graphics artists and freelance crew members.

I’ve been a full-time in-house creative leader for many years and have also built creative departments from scratch, recruiting high performing team members, managed budgets and outlined processes and best practices. As a mentor for young creatives, I’m supportive, inspiring and motivating. I have won international awards and I want to win more!
